Job Role: 1:1 GCSE Outreach Teacher
Location: Braintree, Essex
Job Type: Part-Time, 3 hours per day, 5 days per week
Salary: £21 – £24 per hour

Active Recruitment are looking for an Outreach Teacher/Tutor to support a Year 11 child through their GCSE English, Maths and Scienc exams.
The aim of this placement will be to prepare and enter the student for AQA GCSE’s. The student is very able but has some gaps in their learning.
This is an on-going placement which will be based in an agreed location in Braintree. The student will be always supervised.
The work placement will be 3 hours per day, 5 days per week.
Our client is an Education Based provider for children, young people and families across Essex.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will either a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, QTLS), have a passion for SEN and experience in supporting students who are studying towards AQA GCSE Qualifications. Unqualified Teachers, Tutors & HLTA’s are welcome to apply.
An Enhanced DBS would be needed for these roles.
Active Recruitment currently has a high demand for Outreach Teachers, Tutors and HLTA’s to help and support students have been permanently excluded from mainstream education. The students are from Year 6 up to Year 13 and the placements will all take place in suitable locations across North East and North West Essex including Harlow, Dunmow, Bishops Stortford, Stansted, Chelmsford etc.
