Our client is a residential setting for adults with complex learning difficulties who may experience other additional needs.
The role of Adult Care & Support worker is to support and assist individuals accessing the local community and as well as supporting them in their everyday living according to their personal care and support plan. Some of the duties include:
- Personal Care,
- Day/Evening Social, Learning, Leisure and sporting activities,
- Emotional, wellbeing and Physical wellbeing,
- Daily living.
The work will involve a mixture of early and late shifts as well as some weekend work.
No formal qualifications are required for the appointment of the post. However, the post holder will have a Level 2 or equivalent in Health & Social Care or willing to train. A basic awareness of learning disabilities is required. Any previous experience (paid of voluntary) is welcome.
