Active Recruitment are looking for a Deputy Head of School to take up post from either April or September 2024.
Our client is an 11-19 Alternative Provision based in East London. The school offers a flexible curriculum at KS3/4/5 which combines academic and vocational courses. The curriculum is designed to ensure that all students can achieve their potential and go on to higher education, apprenticeships, or employment opportunities.
Role of Deputy Head
The Deputy Head of School will be a lead professional and significant role model within the school and will:
- Support the Head of School in leading and managing the school.
- Under the direction of the Head of School, be accountable for key areas of the School Improvement Plan.
- Share responsibility for implementing school policies, decision-making and strategic planning.
The Deputy Head will have close liaison with other schools and senior leaders within the provision and wider community.
