About the Job:
Active Recruitment are looking for a Teacher of English to join an outstanding secondary school in Southend, Essex. Initially this will be for the Autumn term to cover long-term sick leave.
The school are looking for an English teacher to work 3 days per week and the ability to teach Media Studies is welcome but not essential.
Requirements:
You will have an in-depth knowledge of teaching English to KS4 and be able to work 3 days per week – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays. There is scope for full-time work which would be made up of general cover.
Knowledge of teaching Media Studies is welcome but not essential. For those candidates who can teach Media Studies there is the potential to deliver this at Key Stage 5.
