Job Role: Primary School SENCo

Location: Near Southend-on-Sea

Full-Time, 5 days per week, Initial 1 x Term with view to Permanent Role

Salary: £250 – £350 per day depending on experience

Start Date: September 2022

Job Role:

The SENCo will be responsible for managing the SEN needs of the students across the school along with managing 4 or 5 specialist 1:1 LSA’s. You will be responsible for the training and development of current staff, looking at EHCP plans as well as reviewing and implementing new systems where needed.

Initially this will be on a 1 x term basis with the school looking to make the appointment permanent from January 2023 if not sooner.

The Client:

Our client is a small, 1 form entry Primary School based near to Southend-on-Sea. The school forms part of a wider trust of schools made up of 7 other primary schools and a secondary school. There are approximately 200 pupils on roll.

The SEN needs of the students are lower then average with the main needs being ADHD and Behaviour.

Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will hold a SENCo qualification and have previous SENCo experience of someone looking for their first SENCo job.
