About the Role
We’re currently supporting a number of fantastic primary and secondary schools across Harlow who are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join their teams immediately.
No formal qualifications? No problem.
If you’ve got a passion for helping others, a calm and positive attitude, and the willingness to learn, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils
- Assisting children with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and behavioural needs
- Supporting students both inside and outside the classroom
- Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence
- Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to support pupil progress
What We’re Looking For
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to get stuck in
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport
- Experience working with children (school, care, coaching, youth work, etc.) is beneficial
- A passion for supporting vulnerable or additional needs pupils
- DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
